***Henry is NOT AT ROAR (and therefore not a ROAR dog); we are providing a courtesy post to help get the word out that he is looking for a permanent home.

Write-up from Susan (who now has Henry and trying to find him a new home):
Henry was homeless and hanging out at a shopping mall.
Some folks treated him kindly and others were abusive :(
He is 1-2 years old and weighs approximately 21 pounds.
Henry is fearful (especially with men; will hang back and tremble) but has made great strides.
He has learned to come, sit, down and walks well on a leash.
He holds his business in the house, but does not signal to go out, so he is best kept on a schedule.
He is learning to use a crate but will cry for a while.
Ideal home would be quiet, with a patient, experienced dog owner who is around a lot, perhaps retired or working from home.
He bonds very readily to someone he trusts.
Once he trusts you, he will be a loyal companion, following you to the kitchen, watching TV at your feet, sitting by you in the office.
Another dog in the home may be a plus. Please call Susan at .
Henry is up to date on vaccinations; neutered; heart worm negative
